Tribe + Fire Training

I was invited to train for basketball with Man on Fire in summer of 2016. At that time, I was training to grow in the game of basketball, however, I was still committed to living the street lifestyle. But God…
God was doing a work in me, through me, and around me even when I couldn’t see it.
In 2019 I chose to fully give my life to Christ. I acknowledged Jesus as Savior and Lord and got baptized. It was in that season that I was invited to be a part of Tribe. I said YES. Tribe provided a different community of imperfect and diverse people who were still able to belong to one another. Through my time in Tribe, I’ve learned that I am not alone, community matters, commitment and consistency pays off, and most of all God loves us.
Rishun is currently working at McDonalds as the Technology Operations Director. He also helps with MOF camps and clinics as a trainer.
